I don't know if oil soap is what you want!   I'd look and see if there are any tutorials on YouTube to get food grease out of leather.   There must be.   I mean, we're talking about bacon.   Bacon is Universal.   You cannot be the only person to have had this happen. I plead gulity to trying to do three things at once and failing spectacularly. I "cooked" a pie by turning on the griller rather than the oven and so the top was burnt and the bottom raw. DH was less than impressed that I ruined his dinner. Hoping you get that beautiful bag clean. Using multiple products on a stain can set it permanently. If I didn't have any on me, I'd try food-grade finely pulverised diatomaceous earth (often in bulk area of natural food stores). Much less preferred than TdS, but better than starting with any standard detachants. Either of these have best chance of working if used before anything else. I keep lipstick, lip balm in my car instead of my purse. It was a hot day, and went to put on lip balm- which I found out a second too late-had melted Like melt from a candle. The lace was ok, but the light underlayer was not salvagable. I wash my vintage Coach bags with Dawn. The key is putting leather moisturizer on afterwards, so the leather doesn’t crack. However, I would only do this as a last resort because washing could be bad for some bags, particularly ones with cardboard. I would contact the company about your stain. It has to be spot cleaned. Thank you in advance.   (Side Note:  I got that same grease on my white jeans.  They came clean with oxyclean).
