I bought these boot on sale during NAS and they are wonderful. I just got back from spending 6 days over Christmas in NYC and I wore them every day except for one. They kept my feet warm, were comfortable enough for walking blocks and blocks on end, and looked fab with both jeans and skirts. You will love them! Mine are short zip-up waterproof ankle boots with a quilted pattern and they are the best and I could walk in them forever. Yes, it is an investment, but I think you made a wonderful purchase. I wanted to look for a brown boot that actually fits my petite calf. I fell in love with at least three boots, a plain flat mid-calf style from Aquatalia, a funky buckled mid-calf style from Cordani, and the Frye Jane cuff/otk style worked surprisingly well on little me. I finally decided that Angie's pick was the most comfortable and would work the best with my collection of dresses missing brown boots. Even at 40% off though they are an investment piece for me, so I really hope they earn their keep. Unfortunately I am traveling and separated from my wardrobe, but I promise to post pictures later. Big gulp.
