Luckily they are still in pretty good shape. I would probably suggest waiting till early September before you attempt to dye the black oxfords, as more colors might show up then. </p> https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/oh-happy-day-born-is-making-an-arletta-clone#post-1317137 Mon, 28 Jul 2014 19:58:02 +0000 Diana 1317137@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ <p>As you guys probably know, my Born Arletta oxfords are some of my favorite shoes.&nbsp; They are super comfy and seem to go with everything.&nbsp; However, both of my pairs are now on their last legs (in a non-fixable way, sadly) and I have been dreading the day when I'll have to retire them.&nbsp; </p> <p>So imagine how happy I am to see these shoes, the Born Bristol, on the Born website today!&nbsp; They look like an almost exact clone of the Arletta, except that they have a full wingtip design whereas the Arletta had a straight line.&nbsp; (Photo 1 is the Bristol, and photo 2 is the Arletta.)&nbsp; I hope the comfort and fit are the same too.&nbsp; The only down side is that they only come in black and brown right now, and what I really want are grey and gold to replace my dying Arlettas.&nbsp; </p> <p>I am seriously tempted to buy the black and get some grey Tarrago dye though.&nbsp; I'm still hoping that more colors will appear in the fall though (hoping for a light one!).&nbsp; </p> <p><a href="http://www.bornshoes.com/product.aspx?Style=D37003" rel="nofollow">http://www.bornshoes.com/product.aspx?Style=D37003</a></p>
