I love the dalmation print! I own these booties in the leopard and quite like them, but really wish I had opted for the black and white print when I had the chance. But I can't get over my aversion to cat-spots on clothes. Maybe I will get lucky and get a pair with enough black that they won't be too high contrast on my legs? Thanks for taking your homework seriously :) Yes. I tried the Dalmatian Matisse booties first because they were cream (you know how I love white and cream). I did not like them on my feet at all. They looked too clown-like on bare legs - which is how I wanted to wear the booties. But it sounds like you want to wear them with white skinnies and that will work better I think. The Matisse booties in the other animal print (the ones that I kept) looked so much better on my bare legs! I just don't know why that is. Those are 10 hour walking shoes. I walked 100 blocks at a fast pace in those booties in NYC - in 83 degrees! I am curious to see how they work for you, Rae. Of course, I hope that they work out! MsMary on "Oh dear. I'm not usually attracted to animal print, but I think they'd look so cute with my white skinnies, and the pattern kinda looks like paint spatters in this colourway... I'm a shopping monster right now! Rationale is that they simultaneously check off from my list: - light colored boots for work - homework from Angie to aquire booties (!) Gah. Hubs is going to think I've gone insane.
