I most always crop my photos, although I do try (if I remember!) to include my smile. I just feel more comfortable knowing that my face can't be identified on the internet. That said, I have shown my face a few times over the past year or so in candid shots when I was wearing sunglasses. Faces, hairstyle, make-up make SUCH a difference! Cropping the head off entirely, blurring the face or tipping your head forward (causing huge shadows on your front) are very distracting. I can still see their haircolour and style, which are important to an outfit, and I can make a better assessment. The blurred face is the worst for me, even though I can still see the hair colour and style, the big circle over the face is so distracting and off-putting to me that I'm almost a bit insulted looking at the image.
