Basically, the long and short of it is my mother is dealing with severe OCD and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder which has caused her to become helpless, paranoid, neurotic, and anxious (among other things as well). </p> <p>She can't do anything by herself and my dad has been traveling for work quite a bit which means she stays at my house (both day and night). I spend most of the day (and unfortunately night as well) reassuring her that she is going to beat these challenges and working through anxiety attacks (while also caring for my two boys and my husband...the house has completely fallen by the wayside). </p> <p>I'm sure that we will be able to help her (with doctors and a great therapist) but my life is pretty much non-existent right now (hence, no posts from me on the forum).
