Shiny, the bouclé coat is from the company called Only, I think an offshoot of ModaVera. It's a transitional item for sure, not lined, more like a jacket really. It did not break the bank either.

I see Julianne Moore, especially with the straight hair. My favourites are 1 and 9. Lots of variety and super funky. I like

Fun! My faves are 1 and 8-9. Love the curls!

On the last one, with the turtleneck, my experience has been that wearing the hair down with a turtleneck can be a bit much--too much of the face and neck are obscured. I found in my own case that if I wore a turtleneck, I looked better with my hair off my face. So maybe do a ponytail or bun or pull the sides back with higher necklines?

I too have delicate features and fine hair, and I had never given a thought to how my outfits would change if I had thick, voluminous hair. This is very interesting indeed!

Thank you for this constructive feedback!

Joy, for sure, I am discovering long, passed the collarbone straght hair will elongate a silhouette quite dramatically. To the point where I have to be careful not to add other elongating details too much.

Shiny, what are you dressing as? I'm curious! Cosplay wigs are fun and not too much of a wallet committment. Do go see a hairstylist for a quick snip - probably the bangs that tend to be too long with those.
However, cosplay wigs (for costumes) and personal, prosthetic wigs (for daily wear) are so different I think they deserve a different name. Cosplay wigs are meant for a fun evening. Perosnal wigs cost in the hundreds of dollars - if not in the thousands - and differ the most in the cap construction. It's fitted wth wefts and traps and transparent lace in the front so it seems the hair is coming right out of your scalp. Local beauty stores catering to an African American crowd also sell beauty wigs and toppers, and usually also carry brands for under 100$ that are not cosplay.

Jane, Mainelady, thank you!

I always enjoy seeing your outfits and your style. Ooh Layla, the straight wig! I think it showcases your face beautifully. I really like the curly wig, too, but I notice the curls more than I notice you. My fave outfit is #5. I think the scarf makes a big impact.

Love all these looks!!

I bought a wig for my Halloween costume this year. It's similar color to my hair, a little more platinum, but much longer than my hair. I think it needs to be cut or styled or something. It feels like so much hair. Or I'm not used to that much hair.

Hard to choose a fav but I think 2, 8, 9. Love the beanies and the coat. Where is the coat from?

Sissy Spacek, that's who! I really love the green tweed jacket with the curls -- so pretty!

It's fascinating what a difference the volume of hair up top makes. It really requires you to rethink outfits in a big way! You do this so very well.

My favorites are 5,6,7,8,9 and 10. They look very fashion forward and fresh! Nailed it! For me, numbers 1 and 4 are quite ok, just not as exciting. In pic 2/3, I feel like the silhouette may look more balanced with a slightly wider leg pant.... just because the top is pretty fitted? And also there’s a bit of volume on top with the sleeves, hair and hat so the skinny pants look a little too narrow in comparison? However as you know I’m certainly no expert!! Feel free to ignore me and go with your instincts

Hello beautiful fabbers!

I would like to submit to you fall looks I've put together, inspired by two different wigs I am wearing in rotation: both are by Pure and Natural. One is called Janet, the other Candy Girl. These are long, with a lot of hair, which add a lot of volume to the upper part of my body. I am exploring outfit composition with a full head of hair. Very different than what I am used to.

I notice that clunky, heavier shoes seem to balance the silhouette. Below, I am wearing my Dansko black clogs and Naturalizer Bzees "Energy" in gray. Normally, in my bio hair, I find these on the heavy side making a bit of a man-repeller/hispter statement. With the long hair, however, they almost disappear into the rest.

On to the outfits:

#1: This is the same little green jacket I have submitted to your review last year when I was still sporting my bio hair. I was struggling to make it work then, feeling it was so thick. You guys gave me positive feedback and many good ideas.(https://youlookfab.com/welookf.....cle-jacket) . Now, with a ton of hair, the jacket is amost a given. I have also tried a chocker as an attempt to diminish the long neck + long hair = long eveything effect.

#2-3: Funky outfit that wanted to pop out almost despite myself so I finally gave in and let it be.

#4: Raspberry beret, sobered up. Wider jeans, straighter jacket.

#5: I feel as if the artsiness desperately wants to express itself so maybe that means something... this outfit is actually extremely comfortable, especially in our cold, fussy weather.

#6: I came up with this very simple look almost by chance. I think it's all in the top, a cropped bat wing knit from Marciano. Footwear are the new Bzees.

#7: Same concept, different cut and color top. Somehow not as sleek as the previous ones. If you decipher what makes #6 so much more polished looking, please tell me!

#8: I appologize for the lack of smile in this photo. I am not unhappy though. I think this is a look I will go for this winter.

#9: how a coat can change everything.

#10: This summer I went to Tokyo and brought back these bottoms in my suitcase. They were all over back there. I got them at Muji's, the Japanese version of Target, so they were relatively cheap (= in North American terms, normal price). They are very fun and romantic to wear.

Thanks for watching! feedback welcome! Please don't hesitate to be blunt, it's always so helpful.
