I'd have to order it and then go from there. Don't worry, I'm not rushing to ditch the Allsaints. Especially after the time and effort you put into it to get it for me!<br /> I am not honestly sure which would get more wear, either. I don't have much in the 'dressy' jacket range beyond my cropped tux jacket. But then, there are plenty of opportunities for a sassy leather jacket in my long winter climate as well. Sigh.<br /> I am thinking I'll unveil the Allsaints before the weekend and see what he thinks about it. If he hates it, that will make my decision easy and I'll return it and get the much cheaper satin one instead. It was offhand part of a conversation and not a 'big talk' about the budget or shopping. I think I did say I was planning on just one thing a month in the future. It was more a part of the bigger conversation of moving back home and once again being on the job hunt side of things. Oh, I know, we were driving on Sunday to the nearest actual city and I mentioned Marshall's, as I knew "a jacket coming might need to be returned" and we were about 10 miles from the store.<br /> I know we can afford both (right now anyway) but I also know it's out of my normal budget to spend almost $300 on clothing in one month.
