I remember buying my first pair of white boots and feeling a bit dubious about them - now white boots are a style essential for me. Luckily for me Margot has a good colour scheme going on with all that fabulous white fur.</p> <p>Nemosmom - I envy how fabulous you look in earth tones and greens. Clear colours work best for me. Given your red hair, I would have thought you would look stunning in red - maybe we need an outfit lab of different shades of red on you so that Angie can help you find YOUR red tone.</p> <p>Cardiff Girl - when I went through my black phase I was very influenced by a friend who wears black always and just looks so sophisticated, stylish and professional. I now realise that she was doing her own thing and that is what I need to do too.</p> <p>Runcarla - yes me too - lots of dark neutrals in my older items. I am also finding that most of my older items are winter clothing - I wear my warm weather clothing so often, and it tends to be less durable - that my summer gear is all pretty new.</p> <p>Dawn - I love seeing forum pets too - there are lots of animal lovers on the forum.</p> <p>UmmLila - hopefully Singapore is still thriving during Covid. I was there 12 months ago and it was buzzing. The are lots of great new attractions in Singapore, my favourite is the Sky Trees and Gardens by the Bay. Poor Ms Margot just wanted to get on with her walk, not pose for selfies!</p> <p>TG - red is a magical colour that seems to work for everyone as long as you get the base right.</p> <p>Style fan - thank you, that is high praise indeed! Both Margot and I needed a good brush when we got home (as evidenced in picture 4). I have one black coat that is similarly of great quality and being Zara was very inexpensive.</p> <p>Slim Cat - yes Margot is indeed the best and cutest accessory!</p> <p>Joy - the colour makes all the difference, lucky I found YLF or I would still be dressed head to toe in black.</p> <p>JAileen - I knew you would love seeing Margot. She just loves her walks and always has admirers. She does love it when I take her to parks where she can be off leash. My OBG addition is my Zara red pea coat that is 6 years old.</p> <p>At the time Zara was not in Australia and I bought this jacket in Singapore from the flagship store on Orchard Road. It is a beautiful store and this jacket which also came in black does not feel like Fast Fashion. It is well made and has worn like iron. At the time I was leaning towards the black, because I suffered from thinking that black was the most versatile colour. Luckily the sales assistant told me that the red was better and had a wow factor and so of course I bought the red. Soo glad I did, this was the colour injection that my wardrobe needed and the precursor to my hot pink beacon coat (also 6 years old) which I bought later in the year and also wore and loved lots. I had joined YLF and you can see the Angie influence.</p> <p>Wore to walk Margot and I like how we match in our red and white. Poor Margot, I tried to do a selfie holding her but it did not turn out too well and I will leave that to Angie and Sam</p> <p>It was a windy morning but has heated up now. It is fun to revisit some old wardrobe items.
