				<description>&#060;p&#062;Today, day 1, was a 6 minute workout.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Jumping Jacks, which I haven't done in decades. I barely manage to get off the ground into the air.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Standing lunges--I fear for my knees so didn't go too far down. Noted that my balance wasn't very good.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Plank from elbows. Well, I do it straight arms. And sides from the elbows.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Pushups from knees. I do them from a bench.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Some yoga relaxation poses.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Then I went out for my 17 minute hill walk. I'll do plank and pushups tomorrow. While out I saw a couple of young women in the park. One of them ran around the track a couple of times, then ran up the very steep hill. She ran! I decided I want to be able to do that. I've gone up that steep hill once, walking, so maybe it's time to start with some baby steps, maybe walk 1/3 of the way and see how it goes.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Back home I went out and started pruning the wisteria, which has gotten totally out of control. Another 45 minutes. It counts! I have to reach and bend and twist.&#038;nbsp;&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;And for the first time in ages I'm keeping a food diary.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;And now for a glass of wine.

				<description>&#060;p&#062;On January 6, I began a 30 day Well Challenge  from the Times. The 6-minute move videos are the ones described in the article linked here. The email with links arrives around 4am and most of the challenges take only a few minutes. The next round may be movement only (?). I found the videos to be fun and short wake ups for my body. I am glad that I signed up for it.

&#060;p&#062;I came across this at Passage des Perles. You don't need a digital subscription to sign up and get an email every day of the challenge. It starts Jan 28.&#060;/p&#062;

&#060;p&#062;15 minutes a day, different assignments every day, and you track your progress. &#038;nbsp;First assignment is to write yourself a letter.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I've done some tracking programs--Weight Watchers and My Fitness Pal, but this one seems to be a different approach. So I signed up.&#060;/p&#062;
