Given the high cost of medical care in the US, we always take out travel insurance, even though we theoretically get free insurance through our credit card (I am never game enough to rely on that). I don’t think our Australian health insurance would cover it, but maybe it’s different in other countries. I hope we don’t have any problems because it was expensive. I had taken the SIM card out of my phone to avoid international charges and hadn’t familiarised myself with how to call reception or make outward calls on the hotel phone. I was so angry with my self when I had my unconscious husband in my arms and I couldn’t immediately figure out how to call reception (or 911). Some phones you dial 0 first. Some phones you hit talk first. Some phones you just pickup the phone and dial the number. Next time I will do that or buy a travel SIM. Just as important as knowing where your fire exits are (which I always do). </p> <p>Suntiger, I get it! I think for work I would wear a full slip. But it’s perfectly decent as is for going out.</p> <p>Janet, I was intrigued by the Byzantine jewellery and patterns and also the colours (predominantly dark red, dark green and gold). The skirt is not opaque. It is semi sheer. It has a half slip underneath. I may end up wearing a full slip underneath it, I haven’t quite decided yet.
