I'd add a small clutch for evening.<br /> The jean shorts in #2: Those are not needed around these parts yet. They can look really out of place unless worn with tights or it is 90 degrees out.<br /> Shoes: You need a pair of shoes that you can wear in the rain. I'd leave the jean sneaker, the high heel boots and the clog like sandals.<br /> Outerwear: Are you bringing a trench or parka? The temperatures are really variable here, you might want to bring an outer layer. ETA: I see you listed a beige trench. Never mind:)<br /> About laundry: Some hotels might have laundry facilities, but the most available option is public laundromats and that is a whole day project. You walk more in NYC than any other city, which I love.
