What an incredible time it was. </p> <p>I also bought two very unique rings. The first from a local NYC designer, and the second from an shop that carries handmade items by women in various African countries. As it happens, they are both a similar shape and have the appearance of double-finger rings. They actually even work when worn together! Both were very affordable, which was all I could bear after the damage I did yesterday, LOL. </p> <p>The tried on a few pieces in Sarah Pacini, out of curiosity. This grey sweater was my favorite, but a bit pricey. I found a great little boutique with a local artist’s silver jewelry and bought a super cool ring, which I will share later.</p> <p>I also confess to a purchase at Alice and Olivia — this fabulous black leather trench was on sale and the last one available. I think I need to take back the Peruvian Connection leather jacket because this one is such a winner. I’m in NYC for a couple of days following the lovely Lina’s wedding (Zapotee for those who remember her!), and I have one shopping related task that takes me to the upper east side, but otherwise I was thinking about poking around my usual shopping haunt areas in Soho today (tomorrow is art day, or maybe I’ll go to the botanical garden...). Anyone have suggestions for places I may be overlooking or may not have been before that would be a good fit for my style? Just looking to expand my horizons. Special consideration given to great footwear and lesser known independent designers. TIA! </p>
