I am sorry to hear that it is not even making it to the first wash! But we were smart to buy it when we did, and you are right the price makes it easier to not be as disappointed. Still ,not making it until one wash ,ouch!</p> <p>I loved the pattern. I am working on building patterns/textures into my wardrobe. These look good on you. I would choose the occasion carefully and make sure you don't have any other statement pieces on when you wear them. I also really like the suggestion of trying with a collared shirt so that it can tone them down a bit. And I have the same polka dotted AT cardi which I love. Sadly it has started to pill even before the first wash and I can't return it since I bought it on final sale. I don't mind them so much myself, but they're certainly not for everyday use. When I saw them in the store, they were used as a dramatic statement piece with cocktail attire. I couldn't wear them personally because I am too petite, but you don't seem to have that issue.</p> <p>The way you are wearing them bothers me not because of what you're wearing but how you're wearing it. I don't think a short necklace really looks right over the turtleneck. It seems to interrupt the verticality.
