Really, it's different with every shoe. Sometimes my feet sweat and because of that they don't slide into place(like in my peeptoe heels), sometimes my foot would just feel nicer with somehthing between my foot and the shoe. The foot covers are too big for me, I'm sure of that from Maya and Becky's experiences. Angie, I'm pretty sure my shoes fit. I'm going to try the products that Tanya and Alecia recommended. I've never heard of BodyGlide but I'm going to try it right away. For some reason, I hate to see any of the foot liner sticking out of the shoe. It has to be totally hidden or I won't wear it. Any more ideas?? JB

I am a size 6 and have this problem too, but to be honest I just deal with it. Assuming that the shoes themselves aren't the problem, maybe there is a way to alter the foot covering. I usually just wear the kind that covers your toes because that's where I get blisters. They do stick out about 1/4" but I guess it doesn't bother me. Then again, I have very low standards for shoes. As long as I can get through the day in them without looking awful, I'm happy.

Oh, I do have a pair of toe covers by DKNY I think, and they are pretty shallow. I guess it depends on the shoes, but I wore these today and noticed they didn't stick out. I was wearing some low heeled mary janes but they show a lot of toe cleavage, so it's not like the shoe was cut especially high on the vamp. I got them at Nordies. Might be worth a shot.

I have this problem too, Jennifer. I wear a size 6 and also concluded my problem with the no-show liners is they are too big for me. I want to wear them primarily to wick away moisture and keep my feet more comfortable than to prevent rubbing, but I haven't really found a solution yet.

You can also try BodyGlide. http://www.bodyglide.com/ It's a product for athletes to prevent against chaffing, etc. I discovered it through my running buddies for those long distance runs when your shorts/bra, etc., will rub. But it also works great on shoe rub. I use it when I have shoes to break in. Good stuff!

I think that what I have mentioned is the Band Aid Anti-blister stick:
https://www.bandaid.com/couponBlisterBlock.jsp

It works pretty well for me, not 100 % of course, but it certainly helps. I also wear footies with a lot of my shoes, particularly newer ones as I they get broken in and patent ones which I find harder. My shoe size is 8 but I still find them peeping a bit over the line of my shoe. I tend to ignore it most of the time ( though it does annoy me), someone would have to be really close and stare at my feet in order to notice it.

Hmmm. Perhaps the shoes are the culprit? They sound like they hurt. I never need to wear liners with my shoes accept for these with two pairs of sling backs:

http://youlookfab.com/2008/07/.....lingbacks/

I have EXTREMELY fussy skin on my feet. That’s my big challenge. Does the above make sense?

I hope that someone can tell me how they've solved this problem. I've tried
several different brands and styles of foot coverings from sheer toe covers with padded soles, ultra low seamless liners, peep toe covers and everything that I've tried shows alot above the line of my shoe. I have a small foot 51/2 and the foot covering only come in one size so I'm guessing that on someone with a larger foot the coverings are more concealed because they stretch more. I'm looking for something to wear or use with my ballets and flats this fall. Is there another sort of product? I think Tanya might have mentioned something. Maybe a spray that would help stop rubbing a blisters? Anyone else hafe any ideas for this painful rubbing? Are there any spray powders?
Thank you for any ideas . JB
