Hot deliver guy, huh? The last time I had a hot delivery guy at my door I was in pajamas (not cute ones) and braless. Hair all over my head. Glasses askew. I looked genuinely terrible.......It was only after closing the door and catching my reflection in a mirror did I become embarrassed.....sad.</p> <p>back in college, I was approached by a RA for suspected domestic abuse. within a span of 3 days, I'd slammed my arm in a door, hit my shin against something hard (don't remember what) and had a nasty fall in the shower due to a roommate's addiction to bath oil that had me bruised on the opposite leg from nethers to ankle. When he asked me about it, I laughed and tried to explain my clumsiness. He looked at me with deep concern in his eyes and told me it was ok, that he would protect me if I would tell him who was doing this to me.......I had to swear that I was not being abused. It was nice to know that someone was looking out for me. Unfortunately, my story of someone thinking I was being beaten, it happened to me too, came as a result of me punching myself....I was taking a karate self-defense course and I missed my partner ( a HUGE guy, hard to miss, really ) and I punched myself in the eye - HARD. The next day, one of my customers called our corporate headquarters and asked to speak to the president of our company. That night , I got a call from his assistant wanting to know if someone was hurting me. Imagine how I felt when I told her, " Yes, me ! I once got reported to adult protective services because they thought someone was beating me. When an officer showed up to talk to me about it I felt very awkward and told him no one had been hitting me. He then asked me how I got the black eyes--- it was very embarrassing to tell him that they were just dark circles.He didn't believe me. I was finally able to convince him, I think. He then suggested that I wear some makeup to stop this from happening in the future.
