And you know... thinking back on the Burberry trench threads and all the deliberation and careful thought that went into the purchase, I think all that is PART of having the Real Thing. </p> <p>I may be able to nab this jacket at a great price, but even if it fits perfectly, there is no guarantee it will flatter or work with my wardrobe without trying it on. If I think that part of what I'm saving for is the privilege of choosing the perfect fit, selecting the perfect color, road testing the item in my own home, and having the option to return, then I can hold out and save up for the Real Thing.
