What about trying hold ups? I find them very comfy and preferable to the restricting tight waistband on panty hose. No garter belt either.

I saw some panty hose today at Macy's that were 'hip hugger' low cut hose, presumably so that juniors could wear them with crop tops. I wonder if those would work if they were long enough in the leg?

I remember garter belts. You could always see the garter bumps on your skirt when you sat down.

I'm tall and have always had the crotch problem. Even if I can pull them up, they tend to slide down my hips as I wear them. I do think there are several places where you can get the old styles--belts and hose.

why I really hate panty hose..In order to get the crotch to come all the way up I have to get them sized for taller than I am, to accommodate leg length, then the top comes almost up to my bra. Anyone here old enough to remember, perhaps mom or grandma , wearing hose with garter belts? the days before PH. Somehow my tights I wear in colder weather fit better. I have three pair of PH and none fit right. Would sure like to try the old hose with garter belt.
