I'm just finally getting rid of the paint fumes. I should have spent the extra $60 for the low fume paint. But $60/gallon seemed ridiculous.</p> <p>Yublocka, the cream and white is the comforter. The green is just a light blanket that i found on clearance for $15 (with matching shams). I knew it was very close to the color I had in mind, so I picked it up and put it away until I was ready for it. There used to be a half round window over the two windows, but I had that removed and walled up a few years ago. First I waited to paint my room for that window to be removed, then I waited until we decided whether or not we were going to expand the bath into the bedroom. We have since decided to just keep the bath footprint the same, so I figured it was safe to paint. I llived with pale pink walls for 8 years!! Please keep in mind that the beautiful pink carpeting will be replaced with hardwood this winter, and there is nothing on the walls because I have nothing to put on them yet. My husband did not like the new comforter, but he said he does not care because he sleeps with his eyes shut. I am also ordering black velvet curtains to replace the brown roman shade.</p> <p>I have to thank Christie for the color inspiration. I was originally planning on painting it dark charcoal grey--but thought that might be too dark against my dark furniture.
