@crazyone, the jacket is amazing, the quality is surprisingly very nice. I would rank it with the Theory jackets I've tried on. It fits SMALL! I wear a 4P in almost everything and the medium is perfect in this. I think a lot of the colors are sold out already. I would get another if they were available.

Well the cleaners were able to press it out but the fabric will never be the same. It's like a men's suit that has been cleaned a thousand times, it just doesn't look as great anymore.... but it is wearable now and I'm sure I am the only one who will know that it is not perfection like the day I bought it.

Rita, how did you find the sizing on this jacket to run? I assume it's the jacket from the Nordstrom Junior's department, yes? I'm considering getting the rust or the ivory and want to know whether to get the XS or the S.

Hope they can fix it back! I don't see why not!

This reminds me of the time I paid a lot of money to have a pair of sunglass frames sandblasted. Then when I got the lenses replaced a few years later, the optician kindly "polished" the frames for me since "they were looking a bit rough." Sigh.

I think it *should* be fine, but I feel your pain. Poor, misunderstood jacket!

Oh, that is really a shame, Rita. I hope it can be pressed back to its proper shape.

I don't understand why it would be permanently ruined. If they pressed it down one way, then it can be pressed back into the right style, yes? I can sew and do my own alterations and this is how it strikes me.

Be sure to tell your dry cleaner that it is a flip collar. My cleaners pressed my collar down in the wrong direction. I am trying not to get too angry about it because I understand that it's not really clear from looking at the jacket which way the lapels should go. They used an industrial press to iron it down. I hope they can unpress it without ruining the fabric. So sad, I love this jacket and it is basically unwearable now.
