Yep, you are definitely a lovely hourglass. It has nothing to do with your bra size, but with relative proportion of shoulder and hips. I am myself a hourglass with a bra band size of 30.

Well, thank you all for the clarification. I still feel a tad bottom heavy and stay away from loose tunic lengths and can't make the flyaway cardigan work no matter how many (over 20) I try on!! Maybe that's because I'm on the shorter side. But, hey, there are plenty of things that work great for me, so I'm not complaining!!

I also see an hourglass - your shoulders are of similar width to your hips and you have a very defined waist.
I have the same problem with my thighs and pants are the hardest to fit!

You have a nice curve in at the waist which is what I "think" makes you an hourglass figure.

I thought you had to have a chest to qualify as hourglass?? I'm only a 32 bra so I figured that was out. but . . . now that I think about it, clothing charts often list my exact measurements as a size (in other words I'm not off by and inch too much here and an inch too little there). Hunh. Never thought about that before.

All these years I thought I was a pear because my thighs are the hardest part to fit in clothing, but I may actually be a rectangle? I did find out I have a short waist by reading some posts! (No wonder those yummy tummy tops all gather up under my bustline seeking higher ground). Anyway, some of the details: I'm 5' 4 1/2" and weigh 120. rough measurements are bust 34.5 waist 27 hips 37 thighs 21 true inseam of probably 30 or 30.5 (I wear most pants at 32 but know that's longer to accomodate shoes). Any other measurements that would be helpful to determining body type?? Thanks for any enlightenment!!
