I love black and white, but somehow this just didn't do it for me. I do have a solid light pink sweater top that is simple in style and wouldn't take away from the look of the skirt. I think I'll try that, thanks for the suggestion.</p> <p>Also, I'm wondering if wearing black shoes instead of cream like Jenava suggested would have made it better to even out the contrast/harshness. It's going up to 72 today (tying the record for this date) and I can't believe I'm wearing a tee shirt and no stockings in November! The fabric in the skirt is not a thin summery weight fabric, though, as it's really a "lace look" cotton.
