I’m on my phone, so forgive me if I don’t work everyone’s name in. I do appreciate every comment here. I still have most of the weight I gained over the winter, so am working with a very small wardrobe. I appreciate all the compliments on the color mix from <b>Nemosmom</b>, <b>Toronto</b>, <b>bijou</b> and others, as well as the suggestions on how to make the outfit better. </p> <p>There was another mom at the doctor’s office wearing exactly the perfect shade of tights. Not “grape” colored like Ronald McDonald’s friend, but the actual color of red grapes. I didn’t feel comfortable asking her where she got them. </p> <p><b>Anchie</b>, I’m not sure about red with this dress at all—not jacket or boots or tights. Unless I can find just the right shade of tights. I’ll have to start looking. <b>Brooklyn</b>, I do have some brown ones, but they have gold sparkles. I usually keep them a little more hidden than this. <b>Rachylou</b>, good idea about the scarf. I’ve been wearing this one so much, it’s kind of reflex now, but I can think of a couple others that would work and bring in other colors. <b>Suntiger</b>, cognac booties, eh? I should try my Borns with this. Maybe the loafers too, while I’m at it. </p> <p><b>Angie</b>, we’ve reached maximum Ikea. From coat v dress in pics 1 and 2, they look similar in saturation. Together in pic 3, the dress looks much more muted. Even though the highs today are in the mid 40s and the dress’ sleeves don’t quite reach my elbows, I decided I could try it with a ls cardi. I like the color combo on top, but am less sure about the blue tights. Also, the scarf ties together colors of the jacket and everything near my face, but I am not sure I like the direct mix of jacket &amp; dress around the hem.<br /> I wish I had a full-length mirror—I really like the shape of the dress/sillouhette. </p>
