I&nbsp; have 2 matte satin skirts one in black and one in mint green-see if I can do what I envison with them as bias skirts are much more tricky for me than the pleats. A few years ago thought the same about&nbsp; pleated skirts are "too far outside my comfort zone . Worked like a charm .</p> <p>Janet - grey would be great for you, I agree. &nbsp;I've never looked to see what other &nbsp;colours were available on line - the store only carried black. They really are a super comfortable and supportive boot, with a bit of heel as a bonus ! They slide underneath slim pants and jeans without adding extra bulk and are just high enough to work with a dress or now , this skirt . I took a 38 which is a size down from what I usually wear in Euro sizes . They are so nicely roomy in the toe box which is much better for foot health . One can dream </p> <p>Carla - YES - a nice thick matte satin weave poly . Nice drape and lovely hand . The price can’t be beat . And yes , too , to the boots being all- day walkable . They are a funny shaft height though . Not a full tall boot , but more like a 7/8 height if that makes sense . I have to admit they were a complete impulse buy but they worked so well under the jeans I was wearing when I tried them on that I decided to go for it . They are somewhat a throwback style for me and not my usual , but I’m trying to be realistic about my lifestyle needs . My BFF who is the Olukai rep is also the rep for Taos , so I was happy to support both her and the retailer . My husband did cast a side eye to them the other day but I ignored him .
