What you mentioned about wearing them under long-sleeved layers made me laugh- I was talking to my boyfriend about that just the other day. I was wearing one of my favourite tops (unfortunately 3/4 sleeved) and putting a cardi on top. I was telling him about how I hold the cuff in my hand and "let go" at a certain point inside the cardi sleeve, so that everything is even with no bunches. I said it was a feminine skill. I don't mean aesthetically speaking, I just don't much like the feel of them, especially when I have longer sleeved items over the top. Also the weather window to wear them alone is pretty small - mostly too hot in summer, and in winter I want full length.</p> <p>That said, I do have a few; they are hard to avoid. Sometimes I layer a longer tee underneath and that works well. </p> <p>It is an annoying preference because so many tops and dress are 3/4 sleeve and they do LOOK good to me! </p>
