But I'm also recognising a few things with Fluevog right now:&nbsp;</p> <p>1. heels just don't fit my life today. I'm walking all over cobblestone roads. Heels and cobbles don't mix.&nbsp;<br />2. Now that I've cleared up one foot with plantar fasciitis, the other foot is taking its turn. It's not as bad of a case (I recognised it for what it was and started treating early), but I'm still facing needles in my feet and painful massages on a weekly basis. Crocs are about all my feet can handle.&nbsp;<br />3. the vogs I want (kitschy kitschy boom boom) have some fit issues, according to all the reviews. I'm overseas and can't try them on (and try them on with orthotics.&nbsp;</p> <p>All of this makes me feel bad, because my dad, knowing my love for cute shoes, got me a $100 gift card to Amazon for my b'day, with instructions to buy some cute shoes. I don't like any of their new styles, and even the repeat styles from past seasons that I like&nbsp;are now being offered in colourways I find really unappealing. So instead, I got these, from a company called Centre Commercial (which I had not heard of before. Anyone else heard of them?). They are sleek and modern and just the right amount of shiny. I love the tan sole and laces with the black uppers. And they are wonderfully comfortable.&nbsp;I am in love. &nbsp;Out with the old, in with the new, eh?</p> <p>Anyone else having a disappointing season with a favourite brand/label? </p>
