But I did figure that I could resell the jacket and for the colour it was worth it - so a risk but a calculated one.</p> <p>Smittie - I love lace too. I have a few lace dresses, but they are more difficult to make casual, whereas the lace tops with jeans is a nice alternative to a blouse or knit and practical for my warm climate.</p> <p>Nemosmom - I knew the sandwich would be appreciated!</p> <p>Fashintern - thank you - it was just a photo that my husband took and so funny because hanging out on a Saturday morning for brunch is one of my most favourite things to do. Kiddo was off at a ju jitsu lesson, so DH and I have a Saturday morning "date" so to speak.</p> <p>Christy - the tweed jacket is old (like about 12 years old) and I have not been wearing it much - so that was the main reason I was thinking about passing it on. I have other jackets that I prefer with this sheath dress. I do have a bit of a thing about Chanel and tweed, so I am sort of attached to it for that reason only. I have a tweed jacket that I adore, so maybe I should just wear that one more often.</p> <p>LisaP - yes the quality is so evident and made me realise why VB jackets come at a higher price point than my usual clothing.</p> <p>Janet - yes me too!</p> <p>TG - your uniform is perfect on you and there is nothing wrong with sticking with a formula that works.</p> <p>Karen13 - how interesting the definition is. Maybe this is my formula rather than uniform.
