I’d be afraid it’d move around in the washer and damage the mask.</p> <p>When I made some masks with wires I stitched around the wires to secure them. Is it stitched in place too? My mom made some with "beading" wire--from her jewelry making supplies and stitched it into place. It works well but I washed one yesterday and it got quite bent. I was fussing with a mask prototype and used iron on fusing to hold a piece of copper wire in place. So far so good, but of course I haven’t laundered it yet. I wondered if that might be a good temporary solution for those who don’t sew and would like to add the (not plastic encased grocery) nose wire? </p>
