I also love Ebisu (Japanese) in San Francisco, but I haven't been there in a while. Yelp is a great resource...I check reviews there all the time. Delfina for Italian is amazing. Chez Papa Resto is really good French. I actually don't know many Mexican restaurants there. It is always a huge part of my travel. </p> <p>I am near SF (15 minutes away) and for anything authentic Mexican you will not be disappointed with any place in the Mission district, specifically La Taqueria. For Japanese Blowfish is amazing but it is more of a seen/be seen place and quite pricey (but super delicious). </p> <p>If you found yourself in the East Bay for any reason I would suggest Sushi House in Alameda or Kirala in Berkeley for Japanese and Tacubaya in Berkeley for the best Mexican food.</p> <p>A link that may be helpful to you is listed below.
