They had it in my size at the sale price, but while I was deciding if I should keep or return it, my size went out of stock. I e-mailed them and asked if they could still price match for me, and they said yes!!  No hassle, no fuss!!&#060;/p&#062;

&#060;p&#062;Yes, Deborah, I actually HAVE a US address -- though I have yet to use it. Although I don't live far from the border, it is still a 1.5 hour drive and in winter the conditions can be risky. Plus, around holiday time, with all the other travelling I do, I just don't have time to devote to it. And they will only keep items for a week or so at this location, so if I order I have to know when they will actually arrive and then be able to drop everything and go at a moment's notice...and then also come back across the border in one day (which limits the amount I can bring back, legally, without paying duty.) So all in all, it's a bit of a hassle. One I might be willing to undertake in the future, given how impossible the whole FiftyOne adventure turned out to be, but not one I wanted to undertake without good reason!

				<description>&#060;p&#062;Suz, I am really sorry that you haven't received your items.  And I am in awe of Nordies fab customer service.  Some of our retailers could learn a great deal from them.&#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Suz are you aware of a service whereby you pay a fee for a US address and you can have all your orders mailed and stored at the facility and then when you are ready they ship them to you.  My girlfriend here uses this.  She might wait until 2 or 3 things have been received at the US address and then has them sent to her in the one package to Australia.

&#060;p&#062;FiftyOne seems to be a real problem. My Mom was able to get some items (I think Macy's and Coldwater Creek) - they used FiftyOne as well - the items took a bit longer than she expected, and then they didn't fit after all. Her issue was that the return would not have been worth it ...she would have only received about half her money back. I highly doubt she'll order from any company using FiftyOne again. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Meanwhile - I cannot wait until Nordstrom opens up in Canada...I just know my Mom will be thrilled with their selection and service.

They recently let me return a sweater I got as a gift. I had worn it once and it pilled terribly and the arm seams ripped. I did not have a receipt or the tag, but they did extensive research ( I did have the name of the gifter) and gave me a store credit. (actually offered to refund to my visa, but I felt I should have a gift card to rebuy a gift from the gifter)

I told them I would ship it back if it ever showed up, but it's been over five years, so it would be hilarious if I ever saw it outside my door!&#060;/p&#062;

&#060;p&#062;I've been back and forth with Nordstrom, who in turn contacted Fifty-One. But Fifty-One never got back to them. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I wrote yesterday and told them I really no longer wanted the items -- it had been too long. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;So Nordstrom's refunded my money immediately, no questions asked. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;I think that's terrific. It is not their fault that Fifty-One messed up, yet they are taking responsibility for it. &#060;/p&#062;
&#060;p&#062;Big smile. You can bet I will shop there when they finally get a store in Canada.
