I have not had any cashmere sweaters so I did a bit of research online. Apparently, all cashmere pills but higher qulity cashmere will be de-fuzzed eventually and will last for a long time while lower quality will continue to pill and look bad. Apparently, this is also the reason why lower cost cashmere ($200 and under) is often dry-clean only - the fibers in the lower quality cashmere are not strong enough to withstand washing.</p> <p>I have also read that almost all under-$200 or under $300 cashmere is about the same quality - JCrew, Nordstrom etc. Not sure if that is true.</p> <p>For the tuxedo jacket, I would probably wear it similarly to the other Frenchi jacket I have. So I am trying to determine whether this is too much of a duplication. Also, as an apple, I occasionally have trouble with ribbed-bottom sweaters making me look slightly pregnant. I noticed one reviewer on Nordstrom website mentioning a similar issue with these sweaters (bunching up near the waist).
