I know I've been hammered with tax when I've imported things - anything over about £18 in value you have to pay tax on (I paid about £6 for a parcel of about £30 value - not sure how all of that works ie how much you have to pay but I know it starts at about £6).</p> <p>It does look as if you can return them to a store (but wouldn't be refunded the tax) and if you return them via Fifty-One you're hammered on the return shipping costs...</p> <p>Are you planning to see any YLF-ers while you're over? Problem is that there isn't a standard charge for international shipping it is calculated on weight etc, plus there may be unknown taxes and duties...</p> <p>Also - reading the returns section I am not 100% clear on whether I can return items to a store.
