I also point out that the quality of the YLF site and the related forum are really very high quality in terms of user friendliness, attractive design and functionality. This is way beyond other blogs where people just post simple comments, most of which are "love your site. look at my blog.com"  I have not encountered another member forum like this. And especially not one that runs free of charge. (For example, I am a member of a professional association that I have to pay upwards of $1000 a year for, and part of the service includes a member forum. It would be super-nice if we could make collections of the documents we discuss and refer to all in one place over there the way we can here with finds/ collections.) The forum skews towards US retailers and labels because the majority of participants live in the US, but you'll often see non-US members link to labels and stores in their area. I also think that Angie and the forum members try very hard to keep the forum inclusive by suggesting items that fit a wide variety of price points, styles, and ages. "leave no retail stone unturned" is one of the mantras here, and I think that is reflected by the variety of clothes and styles you find around here, everything from thrifted to high-end designer. YLF is very accepting of all sorts of styles, budgets and preferences. There are people here who shop in all possible price ranges, from thrift stores to couture. I totally second Gigi that it is not about being label conscious at all. Most people post labels when posting WIWs for informational purpose, as someone always wants to know where a piece is from. I haven't been posting labels onl WIWs for the past couple of months since the Finds were introduced, and often get questions where something is from/who makes it. You are welcome whether you shop at Nordie's or Target or Goodwill. :) When people post their outfits, yes, they usually give the names of the designers for the items. I think the reason for this is not so much a fascination with labels as that it allows people who really like one of the items to know what it is and hunt it down themselves.
