As Angie suggested, I am not going to go a size down on jeans but will have the waist taken in and off course the length needs to be shortened. I have decided to keep the gold top as I am in love with it and it will help to stretch my comfort zone. The white top needs to go back as I could not find the medium size in it. Actually, online all colours were sold out in all sizes!!!<br /> Zapotee, going against the grain is good. It shows you are confident about your style and know exactly what you like. They look a little long on you and that may be why they look baggy through the leg (mine don't do that, but they are also borderline too short for me), but the fit around the hips looks good. Mine barely stretched out at all with wear, so I think you should be OK. But you could also try a size down if you want a tighter fit. </p> <p>Gold top is super fab! (But of course it is a statement sweater so you need to be comfortable wearing it!)</p> <p>I like the pleione too. What do you think of the jersey back? It looks like you are wearing a skirt with pants underneath. They may be designed for a much taller person by several inches.<br /> The tops are lovely on you, I think. Especially in winter, I don't see any problem with wearing the metallic top as a component of a casual outfit. How about with a textural mix like a suede jacket?
