I would take them to a shoe repairman, preferrably the best one in the city. You could find that out by asking a reputable shoe store for a recommendation.

They're too cute to return and besides, shoe noise is a sometimes recurring problem so it would be nice to know the solution.

Pretty shoes! Hmm. I don’t know what to suggest for the squeaking? Hard one.

Eva, that drives me crazy too. I was wondering about some of the fabric inserts people have talked about- they don't change the fit, but it seems like it would help with some of the squeakiness.

What do you do about noisy shoes? This is especially an issue in the Spring and Summer, where sandals flap against your heels and patent leather straps squeak. I am debating whether to return these very pretty (but not super comfy) tangerine Franco Sarto Comedy Espadrilles. http://www.endless.com/Franco-.....o%20comedy
The noise is not noticeable when walk down the street and in areas where other noise volume is high. It is very evident in an office environment. Squeak!
