Over the years, I had a great peacoat from Judith &amp; Charles, a Paul Smith and a Pink Tartan jacket, various other items from them. Sadly the one that has gone downhill is Turnabouts on Oak Bay Ave. Their consignment requirements are strange and hard to figure out. Their quality is very hit or miss. Lots of pilled sweaters etc. really nice people work there and their prices are ok. I do find things there but lately the store has been sparse. I don’t bother consigning there any more.<br />the nicest women run House of Savoy also on Oak Bay Avenue.they have reinvigorated an old store and all for the better. They are very community minded which I love. A real mix of things from high end to mid level. No appointment needed to bring stuff in which is great.<br />A la Mode just off the Ave in OB is good too. She prices here designer things rather high imho and her mid level a bit low! Well laid out, clean store.<br />the other good one is Twice as Nice in Estevan Village.<br />Mona Consignment on Fort skewers to a bit of a younger audience. My one criticism of them is that they pack their clothes in way too tight on the racks. Makes looking hard.<br />&nbsp;I just visited Vend Collection across the street from Mona on Fort. Emphasis on slow fashion. Don’t really have an opinion on it but it’s worth checking out.&nbsp;<div>We are really lucky to have so many choices. I take clothes to all these place except Turnabout. Sometimes I take cash at the end of the consignment period and sometimes I use credit!<br />would love to hear your experiences if you visit them.
