I love the Lulus so much and have never had a problem with the non cotton inner lining. It is modal or something just as absorbent. They are Light As Air just as they describe. Try one pair in the hipster and see what you think. I too am small.

My favorite panties are the Hanky Panky boyshorts and Splendid girls shorts. Both are approx 90% rayon or modal. Similar to fit of those two are the Victoria Secret boyshorts with lace trim, 91% cotton according to the one pair I checked. That's my bargain-priced version of the other two

I know your pain! hankypanky.com has a petite boutique section where you can easily find all of their smallest sizes, which aren't always available in department stores. I have a variety of their styles and find them to be exceedingly comfortable. They have a few styles in organic cotton that may work well for you!

The smallest undies I have found are those from Aerie (American Eagle) in XXS. Not sure if Aerie will give you panty lines. Aerie has a ton of different styles, and some are 100% cotton or close to it. They don't cost much, so it might be worth a try.

I am a big natural-fabrics person, and I have found modal to be breathable. It is a synthetic fiber but acts more like a natural fiber. I believe it is made from wood pulp.

I think modal is supposed to be a relatively good 'breather' as well. I've found pure cotton or even ~95% cotton panties tend to stretch out too quickly for me, so currently I have these poly/elastane blend ones with a cotton gusset. http://www.marksandspencer.com...../p22077667 (If I can tag onto your thread though, I'd love recommendations for boy shorts with a bit of a leg, maybe an inch or so? Just so I can feel less worried about my skirt blowing up in the wind in the summer. )

The listings say they're modal? Except for the Wacoals, which come in OSFA.

Maybe modal is better?

The hanky panky and splendid are cotton jersey knit. The Wacoals are 70% cotton. The Lulu Lemons are not cotton.

Angie, are these cotton, though? I had a terrible experience with non-cotton crotches and never again.

YES. Knickers that slice through your fanny are AWFUL.

I wear boy shorts in XS from hanky-panky and Splendid. And they stay put. See below.

Shimera and Wacoal boy shorts are good too - I don't wear them, clients do.

People swear by these as well, IK. They are not an option for me because I like to wear very pretty underwear. But they might do the trick for you:

Don't laugh! This is a real problem! I bought On Gossamer and Commando cotton-rich panties in the smallest size possible, in both briefs and boy shorts. I never, ever thought I would have to say this, but they are all just too big and the other day a pair hooked on my hoo-hah right in a meeting. There is NO delicate way to haul your panties out of your crotch in a meeting, let me tell you. And when I wear them to work out underneath non-spandex capris, the extra fabric wads in ways I'm not even going to decribe. It's horrible.

I'm not that small! I have lots of friends smaller than I am! Surely someone makes cotton no-vpl panties in xs?!
