My impression is that in the summer they market to British people going on holiday in the Mediterranean (a common thing to do). But a lot of their stuff is quite substantial, as you describe this dress. Have tried &amp; retuned several.<br /> I tried The pink Boden dress though perhaps I could have seen issues in advance. I have s degree if FOMO trying to find my wedding attire and thinking sizes will sell out. It’s s beautiful cheery color but too hot and warm a pink for me- it’s “ warmer” IRL than it looked on my screen.<br /> It’s very heavy lace and well- constructed but is just seems to “ wear me”. Too much dress even in petite length. Didn’t really think that would be so. Also maybe I need a drapier style, it’s too ... something? with neckline, shoulders and sleeves.<br /> Anyhow, can still vouch for its quality if someone else is thinking about trying. </p>
