It didn't work for me, but I did want to share what I thought was the coolest thing about this dress. The fabric is gathered in a ring, which has a little bit of play in it. You can slide the ring up and down a bit to find the spot that is most flattering on you. I'm 5'9.5" in bare feet, so I figured it would probably fall to about the same length on me as on the model. I wish I had time this weekend to look for it at my local Macy's.</p> <p>I have not been able to get into the idea of leggings under a dress. I rant and rave about the idea of anyone telling me I shouldn't wear something because it's not age appropriate, but that doesn't mean that I don't personally have notions for myself (not for other people, mind!) of what is or isn't age-appropriate for *me*. All of that, for this: I somehow feel like I would look silly wearing leggings under a skirt or dress. </p> <p>That doesn't mean I won't try it. I try to be very open-minded about trying new things, but I'm not ready to buy a dress that would probably require wearing leggings for anything other than evening out.
