I agree with the others, I would size up. I wear a 9m in most shoes. And I wear a 10 in Nike Pegasus running shoe

My son buys and resells a lot of sneakers. He always sizes up in Nike. They run narrow and generally on the small side.

I find Nike runs a bit narrow. I would be tempted to try the larger.

That is an AWESOME boot. I tend to go up for bulkier shoes/boots like this, as they are more comfortable with thicker socks.

But it would be great if you could try on the equivalent base. I just got a pair of boots from another brand that fit with bulky socks a full size smaller than my usual (7.5 instead of 8.5).

I'd go larger. Too small will be no good and typically 1/2 size up on athletic shoes is good. I'll add that when I am trying to figure this sort of thing out I use the Euro conversion from the manufacturer a lot. If they say the 10 is a 42 I know I need to go to the 9 for example but if they say the 10 (or mens 8) is a 41 1/3 it will usually fit me.

i've found nike to run about 1/2 size small, but that's for the true athletic shoes. not sure if this would be made on the same last.

Nike running shoes always were too narrow for me. I stopped even trying them on at least 10 years ago, or more. But don't you have a Nike flagship store downtown? I'd go try on the equivalent sneaker version of the boots.

Hmm, that's a lot of shoe! I'd go larger -- you can always hide thick socks in them.

So I'm pretty much a true size 10.
But this shoe comes in 9.5 and 10.5.
What do you think?
