We had about 18 inches of snow here. We are going cross country skiing after Christmas so have rented the equipment and tried it out right on the neighborhood stree,t and some trails in the greenbelt behind our house. We have been snowed in since Sunday. But we can walk to all amenities and are fine. We had friends chauffeur us to our Xmas Eve bash in their snow-friendly Subaru. We just got back. It was very festive! </p> <p>The snow has begun to melt. Major mess and loads of slush.
