AGL has a thin rubber sole and the heel is a little lower than that of the Madewell.<br /> @Angie, thank you for your opinion, I am leaning towards keeping the AGLs.<br /> @Sterling, thank you for the reminder about what is practical and what is more for an imaginary lifestyle. Where I live I have use for either pair but I think the AGLs are more flexible to be worn for casual occasions as well as for dressier ones, that is why I am thinking they will win. I successfully talked myself out of them with the help of my hydrangea bag. I end up wearing it only in the Summer and decided I do not need another similar bag.<br /> Another item was the Marc Jacobs convertible backpack. Oh so lovely, I almost bought it but resisted.<br /> Then I had fun trying on hats and at last I replenished my waterproof eye pencils from Chanel. Those were not on sale but needed to be replenished.<br /> The Paul Green Stella booties (photo 4) look gorgeous and very well made. They have tiny studs along the base. If I were looking for booties those would be mine.<br /> What I did buy were the AG mules in ice white. Now I will decide if I will keep those or the Madewell. I have worn the latter in the black and they are very comfortable but I think the AG are trendier.<br /> The last two pictures are from the Madewell. The AG may be a bit too pointy and the Madewell a bit too round. There is always something to be picky about . What are your thoughts on those? </p>
