I know some retailers will not carry the larger sizes (10.5 up) even if they are made or only order in a few pairs. I've even found this weird pattern in one of our local chains (similar to a DSW, but local). They don't carry flat shoes in the larger sizes-- just heels. My only thought was that it was for the drag queens, but we are in a unfriendly area for that.
