Denim does come in 3 gauges. Most of my other denim is considerably&nbsp; heavier than these pants, though my new Levis (with lyocell added) are lighter. </p> <p>My railroad stripe pants don't even feel like denim at all -- they are a cotton fabric but not a denim weave.
