It isn't as dark in RL and I wore a pearl necklace to lighten it a bit. I think it worked.</p> <p>Wore the top and skirt outfit on Sunday night to church. I think this worked well too.</p> <p>The lighter dress isn't actually chambray, despite appearances, but pinstripe blue and white. I will keep it, thanks to all your feedback! It is ironed and ready.</p> <p>Suz -&nbsp; yes the heat is down now. Rest of the week the maxes are in the 20s and today there was heavy rain.. But it will certainly be hot again in Jan-Mar and I'm hoping our aircon gets repaired&nbsp;&nbsp;(as part of the ceiling fix) before I go on holiday </p> <p>I do feel like I have bought a heap of clothes - 2 dresses, 1 skirt, 1 shorts and 1 top (plus a gear skirt that I can use for casual&nbsp;as well). This is a LOT for me. The chambray shirt and white skirt is fantastic on you - I think this will be a winning look for so many occasions. If you only want to keep one dress, I like the blue one the most. Given our weather, dark colours can feel a bit much once the really hot weather kicks in. I also like how the blue dress skims your body.
