The taupey gray is darker and looks better with dark pants. For me it might be a way to match heel height with some pants I can't currently wear with any higher heel but work well with this style of shoe. I know you didn't ask ;-) I like that they're more boyish. Ah, but wait, you say you already have pale grey laceless ones? In which case, these brown ones would be 'wear splitters', right? And they would be less comfortable than your grey ones. So the question is, would you reach for these knowing your grey ones are more comfortable?   Too bad about fit issues. Sued is so forgiving of 'shapely' feet I get tons of compliments and they work well with flared pants/jeans due to the pointy toe. What a unique shape....a cross between a sandal and an Oxford shoe...who would've thought!? The 2nd pair look patent leather. I hope they have the 'give' you need to wear the shoes comfortably. unfrumped on "New-to-me shoe brand: All Black" https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/new-to-me-shoe-brand-all-black#post-1520410 Wed, 15 Jul 2015 17:19:37 +0000 unfrumped 1520410@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ I found these 2 styles of All Black flats on Anthro, and they seem to be just my speed, flats but different, moody non-black neutrals, light enough to suggest warmer weather and go with lighter skirts and pants,  but not too high-contrast with dark pants. These would be summer shoes with some seasonal transition, since they have open parts, but are great because they are not sandals or open toe. The first pair definitely fit; the second pose the constant issue of fitting L foot perfectly but I will have to march around to see if will pinch the R toe  I don't think  I can size up and still fit L well.  The leather does "give" though not as much as my very soft pale gray laceless oxfords. I'm in trou-ble,  because the "last" of this brand seems to "get" my feet, much like Paul Green, and I like this shape for toebox--always have gravitated toward it when available.   .
