I liked Marley's suggestions a lot. It's a gorgeous sweater, fits you well, and suits you. If you can't actually semi tuck, can you "faux" tuck by folding the bottom under? This works for me quite a lot of the time. But it might not work on leather or faux leather because that surface is a bit slippery. If you have a "tacky" surface (like a knit tube skirt) folding another knit will often work. I do it all the time with long tees.

What a great sweater! I love 1, and am unsure about volume on volume but think Marley and Kelly have some good ideas to try!

Thanks for the feedback!

#1 is more how I envisioned wearing it, and will also wear it with ponte pants and leggings (if it's long enough, haven't tried that yet). And maybe a pencil skirt. The culottes were a bit of a "hey, lets see if this works" but the anwer is obvioulsy no. Sometimes it's hard to see these things on yourself!! I'll try the suggestions above - sleeker boots, different footware to show some skin, but otherwise probably pass.

Marley, it's way too long to semi tuck. Thanks for your suggestions though, you have a great eye.

Elizabeth - another thought: try scrunching the sleeves on the sweater. That will off-set the volume of the outfit, as well as add some lightness to the overall look!

It's a beautiful sweater! And looks to me as though it fits you well. It is quite dark - which isn't a bad thing! I'm just wondering if you could "lighten" up the look of the outfit somehow? Like - for example - could you semi-tuck the sweater into the culottes? If so, I'd try it that way - along with some footwear that shows a little bit of skin between the bottom of the culottes and your feet.
In #1 I'd try it with a pant that tucks better into the boots - so there isn't all of that wrinkling around the knee and thigh - to me that adds to the heaviness/darkness of the outfit and I want to lighten up the outfit just a bit!

I'm a volume on volume person! But I'm with the others in not being sure about 2...something seems off, but for me it isn't the volume on volume issue cause they really aren't that voluminous. I'm not sure why. But I do like 1 quite a bit!

Love look #1. Volume on top and sleek on the bottom is my thing. I'm not a volume on volume person so I'll defer judgment to those with a better eye for it.

I Iike both but especially 1. I think 2 just needs a sleeker boot or bootie.

EtA: love the sweater. Where's the bra pic? Lol!

I agree that 1 works better than 2. The boots + culottes are throwing me off as is the black band on the sweater, and it's a very dark outfit. Something lighter and shorter on top I think would work better.

I ordered a couple of things from Nordies a while ago, and the order finally arrived. Pretty happy with all of it... including a bra!! Total gamble there. No, you will not be seeing styling ideas for that. :)

First up... a striped cashmere tunic sweater.
#1 is what I wore today.
#2. Would like feedback on this. Is this too much volume to wear with the culottes?
