I think there is no denying now that I will have an interest in clothing until my dying day, unless I completely lose my memory or personality I suppose. I just find I notice what people in general are wearing, without meaning to particularly. I went to a wedding yesterday as a guest and it was so interesting to see the different styles the different generations were wearing. One young woman wore a slinky black dress with socks and combat boots! I will do a thread about it. Those who mentioned proportions- I did notice when buying the top that it was shorter than many I see and that would mean no shortening required. There were 2 possible lengths of the pants available and the SA helped me decide on this length. I have met her before, she does seem quite knowledgeable.<br /> I am noticing that some of my clothes are wearing out a bit or becoming less polished looking. Probably a consequence of being careful with purchasing for a number of years now and wearing a lot. Like Lise I was beginning to crave a bit of newness I think to refresh. Am up to 11 without counting the new shoes I am still deciding on.<br /> I only had one white top left before this and it’s old (2012). I have also loved seersucker since I was 13 years old. This is not seersucker but reminds me of it. Organic cotton blend.<br /> I also love cobalt as you might remember. These pants are called cobalt block buster which is a fun name. I also have a vintage cobalt top I got from the Fashion Week clothes swap I will show later. So I can wear either top happily with the pants, my sparkly ballet flats, and whichever white sandals I finally decide on.<br /> Top- Max, cotton blend.<br /> Pants- from a local boutique called Identity<br /> Flats- 2023 Twinkle ballet flats now 20 wears.<br /> I thought of Suz when I put this outfit on, our Queen Blue! </p>
