I love all the glasses in the first row 1-5. I'm not crazy about the half-frames that your technician liked on you because of the pattern (if you can believe that--I'm a pattern loving gal). It still looks simple and natural, but it's so artfully cut to lie nicely and&nbsp;flatter your face. It's the one thing you wear every single day, so it's the most important accessory! I already had to make my choice, but I wanted to see if you agree, and hear your comments on my top picks and the runners up. Hopefully I didn't make a mistake--but feel free to be honest! Which one do you like best on me, considering my face shape, style and color preferences? I feel like some of the ones that flattered my face the best were not the most exciting. And I'm a sucker for anything red and with interesting details. Which explains why I was drawn to the ones I picked.</p> <p>Sadly, I lost my beloved red Prada glasses. I think they're somewhere in my house, but I haven't seen them for months. I've been wearing my old red Prodesign Denmark frames, but the baby grabbed them and broke them. So I was down to my one backup backup pair. I went and had an eye exam since it had been over a year. Unfortunately I'm getting old, and having a hard time reading or seeing anything up close, so she recommended that I get progressives. At least they won't be bifocals! I spent a couple of hours in the optical department and had a technician helping me, and had DH come by after work to give his verdict. He strongly preferred 1-2, which is the most similar to the Prada ones I lost (unfortunately they don't make that style any more). He liked #12 for the glasses (he doesn't like oversize frames). I ended up picking 1-2 and 8-9. Funny that I ended up with two Valentino red frames! How matchy matchy!</p> <p>Note--two pics each of the top choices.<br />1-2. Valentino red.<br />3. Tiffany black (actually a very dark brown tortoiseshell, but looks black). <br />4. Tiffany tortoiseshell (speckled brown/blue).<br />5. Marc by Marc Jacobs black (has red/black pattern on the inside but it's hidden).<br />6. Ogi red half-frame. The technician thought this looked the most flattering on my face, but I thought with my prescription, the lenses would be too thick on the bottom with the wire frame.<br />7. Lacoste.</p> <p>Sunnies.<br />8-9. Valentino red. Has etchings of roses on the frame front.<br />10. Valentino black.<br />11. Ray Bans.<br />12. Calvin Klein blue.</p> <p>The last set I bought. (Wow, I look really different with no bangs!)<br />13-14. Prada glasses. Hopefully I can find these again someday (probably right after I get my new pair!)<br />15.
