The key is reining in the volume by tucking the shirt in and thereby defining the waistline. On the plus side, I think this means you can go a bit blousier than you might otherwise. Second Dawn's suggestion of a cream graphic tee, but consider sizing up, and letting the tucked-in shirt do the work of defining your figure.
